My friends, I bid you welcome to the conscious cultivation journey.
It’s a journey, because it’s traveling from one place of knowledge to the other to understand and discern various, forgotten and unrevealed aspects of yourself. The desire and will to journey breeds the curiosity to venture. And, that interest merges with your intention to branch into your personal unknown - your unexplored continents. When we are curious, we want to learn and seek the information and the answers those areas contain - this voyage of seeking is one within. Cultivation is the art of growth and what’s to be grown here is your consciousness and equanimity.
Internal trips are endless pathways in the un-conscious self – the larger parts of you, that you are unaware of. That’s where unprocessed information, repressed and old memories, insights and all the energies and patterns that are beyond your conscious attention. To reach there is the start of traversing through the personal and collective unchartered territories. To move from ruminating/habitual and cyclical thinking into sensing and feeling – the foundations of internal perception and the prelude to awareness to fuel our inquisitiveness, vulnerability to receive and openness. Learning allows us to dig deeper into the subject we are interested in and the cultivation of awareness is the theme of this blog. To bring you to your own consciousness to access your unique intrinsic guidance systems, to respect your valiant self and to find your cadence and rhythm in life – to be naturally natural.
The contents of the blog will be of a philosophical flair and abstract knowledge to zone out from the perspective you currently have and to see the objective, the situation, without the emotions at place – the route to wisdom is accumulation and internalizing knowledge without the experiences of the past, which are events that are filled with old narratives and feelings. So, they become personal, subjective and not neutral. Also, at times, there will be short posts of poetic sharing to sculpt the narrative and allow you to see it the way you understand it.
Our strength is in how present and aware we are and not wandering from past to future and future to past. Living is not a cognitive process, but an experiential one. When we create space, by observing and uncoupling from what mental situation we’re attached to, we contain time and slip in the present, in the present, there’s only one thing – the now; the pure awareness of existence. It’s a state of deep and relative knowing, as you lose the attachment to the irrelevant past and the anticipated future built on that perception – part of the thinking mode your mind is used to.
Buddha said: “Life is suffering” and that’s the way life is. We have no control over its events and how we want others to act and there’s pain in that, to not have that control and power over things, as that power and regulation only lies within you. Power, which is the ability to transform, is internal and not over the external. Suffering is a segment of the process of living; the cycle of regulating our internal energies and knowing how to master using them – for us and not against us. But, we can suffer less when we understand how our suffering wants to play out, by owning and honoring our pain, by not projecting it onto others.
Through our pain we grow, by changing our understanding and perception to enrich our repertoire of awareness. When we don’t want to feel, we struggle, as we resist accepting what life has to teach us by experiencing it. To surrender, to relieve constant and exhaustive effort not to feel, to resign and let it go, let it be. Just be it. That lets us to be compassionate and develop empathy for ourselves and others, because you’ve been there before and experienced that which hurt you. What wounds you is what teaches you, teachings lead to mastery and that’s to become the owner of your destiny and not a victim of circumstance.
My learnings, writings and travels – within the mind and beyond – led me to launch this blog. Because I, like you, struggle and experience pain in life. It’s part of being human and living on earth. What's not human is to deny how we feel and manipulate ourselves to hold and entrap what’s within us. There are no wrong feelings that develop in you, everything under your skin is to be sensed and felt; You have the power, ownership and claim to simply feel and be who you are. It’s like trying not to sweat or to blink. It’s inhumane not to be vulnerable and honor your insecurities; For without insecurities, there’s no growth. How can we develop, if we don’t change? When we cultivate the courage to face the fears that are making us feel insecure, we can understand why we are avoiding them. Through that process, we develop the ability to transform what we are resisting into energies that drive change. The ultimate teacher is the grander self within you, and that’s the essence of consciousness. That's where my journey started and will always be.
This portal is a call to unity, as the power of awareness is the unifying force that we can align with. That’s the same loving awareness that we breathe in and out each moment we are conscious of it, of our breathing. With all of our perceived differences, every moment, we take in the same air and that breath is the universal thing that encompasses and permeates all life on earth – Love; air is the element of love. It’s all around us and within us. We are all equals when we breathe. Equality is unity felt through love. The path within is to cultivate that consciousness – the union inside.
Before I sign off, here are some short statements to trigger the awareness bulb for contemplation:
Life is a play and the universe is the master observer and you’re the playful experiencer.
If life’s a play, do you believe the answers will be direct to the living? Seriousness eliminates the element of playfulness.
Can you become the watcher of your life, the same way the stars are observing us? We are living in the vast universal mind and somatic body of the source; aren’t we?
What am I creating? The purpose is always within you – in your heart.
What am I releasing? To create the space for the transmutation of energy.
What am I seeing? To see within is to connect without.
Who Am I? That's a question that is endless and timeless. Always to be answered in different ways, for we are the universe in a body, how can we get to know ourselves fully, if we are limitless? + As Who I AM, is the I before conception of AM and life.
Communication with your grander self is through silent whispers, deep and heartfelt sensations and visualizations.
In the unchartered, untethered and the vastness of the mind, you will find the pearl of your truth; the reality of you.
Isn’t the garden of Eden our sanctuary of the truth? Let’s not succumb to the delusions and falsities of the mind through the limitations of what was conditioned.
The earth is our mother and provider, and we are safely home.
At times, do not do what you incessantly want, and then you may receive what you need.
Why tomorrow over today – the grass is never greener on any side – it's always green and you’re always here, now.
A cell in a body, is like a grain of sand in the desert. You are the desert, the same way that you are the chief of your body.
What happens in the absence of light? You slip into the darkness of creation.
What happens in the absence of dark? You can see the light of liberation. The light and the dark are opposite forces that complement and complete one another.
We are always in flux. Coming and going. Giving and receiving. The same applies for our life experience: nothing is permanent in a constate state of movement and changing events.
Everything in the universe is relative. Your mind is the universe. We are all related and connected. That's always the truth beyond the fragmentation of our reality.
From my heart to yours,
I bid you adieu folks. Peace in and peace out.
